2017 Annual Campaign

You know that in Ashtabula County teens are often overlooked and often find their own ways to fill their time – much of it negative. You see that people are battling chronic disease and need help to fight. You are aware that services in more rural parts of the county are far and few between and that transportation is an issue. You feel strongly that everyone, regardless of age, income, or background deserves opportunities for youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

Summer 2017 Boating & Nature Programs

Canoeing, Kayaking, Sailing, Paddleboarding, Bird Watching, Wildflower and Trail Hikes are in full swing this summer. We are offering more opportunities than ever before to get out and enjoy the beauty of Ashtabula County's natural resources. Registration is required and available online or in person at the Y and financial assistance is available for any of these programs. All YMCA boating programs are partially funded by a grant form the ODNR Division of Parks and Watercraft.

Spirit of America 2017

Over the past 20 years, the Spirit of America Foundation has provided America’s premier youth boating education programs to tens of thousands of young people in 22 locations around the country. Since 2014, they have partnered with the YMCA to offer the program here in Ashtabula County. Once students earn their Ohio Boater Education Certificate, they will move on to learning, hands-on, how to safely and properly operate all kinds of watercraft including canoes and kayaks, powerboats, sailboats and jet skis.

2017 Golf Outing for Youth Development

Please plan on joining us for our Annual Golf Outing on June 9th which will be held at Geneva-on-the-Lake Municipal Golf Course, 1:00pm shot gun start. Cost is $70.00 per person or $280.00 per team which includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, lunch at the turn, beverages, hole/door prizes, 50/50, and dinner catered by Meola's Catering at 5:00pm. Spring 2017 Nature Programs

Come on out for a walk in a few of our county's great parks and trails! Bring your hiking boots, binoculars, cameras, and field guides, and enjoy nature with our new Nature Coordinator. Please dress accordingly, as we will still walk in light rain and/or snow. Get out there and experience nature! Pre-registration is required, as a minimum number of walkers is required to run the program.

2017 Youth Soccer League

Registration is available for the YMCA Youth Soccer League now through March 20th. This is a fun, non-competitive, instructional co-ed league for boys and girls ages 6 through 6th grade. The focus is on learning the fundamental skills of soccer in a setting where winning is down-played, character development is highlighted, and everyone plays.
